The experience of being bullied, online and otherwise is something many people go through. In addition to trained professionals, there are communities of support and peers that you can connect with to discuss these experiences and get through hard feelings.
Episodes of sadness, depression, mental ill-health, distress and even thoughts of suicide are common among people who have been impacted by bullying. Talking about them can make a difference. While it is not helpful to deny self-harming thoughts or feelings, no one needs to die from suicide.
Sometimes its hard to find the energy to fight through mental health issues and/or seek help for them. Remember that nearly every one recovers from even the most intense struggles. Find friends or others who can help along the way by connecting with school counselors, community peers and online support groups.
